Katie

Katie is a sweet 2-year-old mixed breed who is ready to leave her sad past behind and find a family of her own. She is a medium-sized girl with a medium energy level who enjoys short walks, but in this South Texas heat, she would much rather relax in the A/C with her favorite people. Katie is friendly with other dogs and cats. She walks nicely on a leash and absolutely LOVES belly rubs. One of Katie’s cutest quirks is her happy dance! When she gets excited, she dances back and forth and lets out the sweetest little howl before rolling over for more belly rubs. Katie was sadly dumped by her family, who never responded when we tried to contact them. Despite that, she has remained incredibly loving, happy, and eager to be around people. Katie is looking for a person or family who will include her in their daily life and show her just how wonderful having a forever home can be.
